On a vibrant day, we welcomed author Jacqueline U. Agweh to ZODML for an exciting book talk. Thirteen curious students from Government Junior College and thirteen from Ilado Community Junior College gathered around, eager to delve into the unusual world of "A School Trip Like No Other."

As Agweh shared her delightful children's novel, the students' eyes sparkled with excitement. This heartwarming tale follows a group of students on an unforgettable school trip, filled with unexpected twists and turns. Their journey is a perfect blend of education and fun, teaching valuable lessons along the way.

Agweh's narrative is woven with humour, excitement, and moral wisdom, captivating young hearts and minds. "A School Trip Like No Other" reminds us that even the simplest adventures can transform lives.

When asked to read her favourite passage, Agweh transported the students to an anthill, where they learned the importance of saving for a rainy day. This touching lesson resonated deeply, illustrating the power of storytelling.

As the students sought guidance on writing, Agweh offered: "Let your ideas flow freely, don't worry about perfecting your first draft. Just write from the heart." She shared insights into the world of publishing in Nigeria's publishing thereby, broadening their understanding.

The session blossomed into an interactive dialogue, with students posing thoughtful questions and laughter filling the air. As Agweh signed their books, the students beamed with pride, cherishing the moment.

In that instant, the boundaries between the author, students, and story dissolved, leaving only the shared joy of discovery. "A School Trip Like No Other" became more than just a book – it was a bridge connecting young minds to the beauty of storytelling.
