Four "Lost" Dr Seuss Stories to be Published

Four stories by beloved children's author Dr Seuss (famous for classics such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Cat in the Hat) are to be published in book form for the first time by Random House this September.
The tales originally appeared in Redbook Magazine between 1950 and 1995, but were forgotten until tracked down recently by Charles D. Cohen, a scholar and fan of Seuss's work. The collection - which is titled Horton And The Kwuggerbug And Other Lost Stories - feature familiar faces and places from other Seuss books.

Dr Seuss (born Theodor Seuss Geisel) was an American writer and cartoonist. He wrote and illustrated nearly 50 books for children, and also worked in advertising and as a political cartoonist. A number of his books have been adapted into popular films, and his work continues to resonate with children today. March 2, the writer's birthday (he passed away in 1991), is National Read Across America Day, an initiative created by the US National Education Association.
